Ordering & Customization

  • Are "off-the-shelf" products available? No. To ensure structural integrity and a precise fit for your site, every tunnel is custom-engineered and manufactured to order.

  • What are the frame specifications? The framework is constructed from high-grade silver-anodized aluminum. The integrated pantograph tensioning levers are finished in RAL 9006 (White Aluminum) for a professional, uniform appearance.

  • What fabric options and colors are available? We utilize premium Poly RS ADR 650 GSM fabric.

    • Standard Palette: White, Grey, Champagne, Black, and Green.

    • Specialty Textiles: High-transparency "Clear Crystal" PVC, Blackout PVC (for light-sensitive operations), and integrated window or clear-roof sections for natural illumination.

Structural Capabilities & Dimensions

  • What are the maximum available dimensions? * Span (Width): Up to 15m (50').

    • Clearance (Eave Height): Up to 5m (16'6").

    • Length: Scalable to your requirements; there is no maximum limit to the length of the run.

  • What is the retraction ratio? Our systems are engineered for high-density storage. For example, a 10m (33') tunnel compacts to approximately 67cm (2'3") when fully retracted.

  • Can the system accommodate uneven or curved sites? Yes. The modular design allows for vertical sloping to follow terrain gradients and can be engineered to navigate horizontal bends up to 90 degrees.

Safety, Engineering & Compliance

  • Are the structures fire-rated? Yes. All membranes are certified to international fire safety standards, including:

    • Australia: AS 1530

    • USA: NFPA 701

    • Europe: UNI EN 13782:2015

  • What is the wind-load rating? When deployed with a compliant anchoring system and the application of integrated tensioning straps, our tunnels are rated for wind resistance up to 100km/h (62 MPH).

  • How is the structure secured or anchored? Standard configurations utilize heavy-duty wall-fix brackets. For freestanding models, we provide specialized anchoring kits tailored to your specific ground surface.

Mobility & Hardware

  • What wheel and track options are available? We offer several hardware configurations based on the environment:

    • Nylon Wheels: 125mm (4.9") for standard hardstands.

    • Pneumatic / Rubber Wheels: 140mm–200mm (5.5"–8") for increased clearance and variable terrain.

    • Anti-Lift Tracks: Optional precision floor guides to ensure stability in high-wind regions.

Is the tunnel difficult to deliver?

No. It's easily freighted in custom solid timber boxes

⚠️ SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS: Retractable Industrial Tunnels

1. Operational Safety

  • Two-Person Rule: Manual opening and closing must be managed by two people, especially for larger structures, to ensure fluid and synchronized movement.

  • Pinch Point Awareness: Keep hands and clothing clear of the scissor pantograph system (crossbars) during extension or retraction to avoid entrapment.

  • Clearance: Ensure the path of the wheels is free from debris or obstacles before moving the tunnel to prevent sudden stops or tipping.

2. Environmental & Wind Safety

  • Wind Resistance: The tunnel's safety is certified only when using appropriate anti-lift guides or lateral tie rods.

    • Standard Config: Maximum wind speed is significantly reduced without stability kits.

    • Reinforced Config: With lateral tie rods, stability is ensured up to 100 km/h for most models (e.g., Ready Box 1 Extra, XL, 2, 4, and 6).

  • Snow Load: In the event of heavy snowfall, the structure must be monitored. If it is an unheated structure, snow accumulation should be cleared, or the PVC cover removed before storms to prevent structural failure.

3. Installation & Maintenance

  • Anchoring: Always ensure the structure is securely anchored using the provided safety straps, steel cables, or ballasts (concrete or fillable plastic).

  • Fire Safety: Only use original fireproof PVC sheets. Verify that the flame-retardant certification is valid and that no flammable materials are stored directly against the fabric.

  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check the pantograph locking mechanisms and wheel integrity to maintain structural stability.
